Eligibility Conditions:
- Qualification must be from a Govt. recognized institution and must be a full-time regular course only.
- Candidates should have passed the final examination (date of result) within five years from the closing date of application.
- Candidates must be medically fit as per the provisions of the Apprentice Act, 1961.
- Candidates awaiting the results of their final examination are not eligible.
- Candidates who have undergone or are undergoing apprenticeship training in any organization for any duration are not eligible.
- Qualification acquired through part time, correspondence, distance education or online mode is not eligible.
- The percentage of marks in the final examination (not the semester examination) should be mentioned in the final / consolidated mark sheet. If not mentioned, candidates should submit the Percentage Conversion Letter issued by their institute / university.
- The required area of specialization should be mentioned in the degree / diploma certificate. If not mentioned, the candidate must produce a certificate / letter from the college / institute / university stating the specialization.
5. Age Limit

6. Salary and Facilities

- An additional Rs. 1200 per month is paid as Food / Messing allowance.
- A Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) amount of Rs. 5,450/- for Diploma Apprentices and Rs. 6,150/- for Graduates in Engineering / Non-Engineering will be provided by the Govt. of India under the NATS scheme. Aadhar seeding of the candidate's active bank account will be facilitated by KMRL.
- Apprentices are entitled to 12 days of Casual Leave on a pro-rata basis and 15 days of Medical Leave on medical illness grounds for the one year of apprenticeship.
- Apprentices will be evaluated periodically on their performance.
- On completion of apprenticeship training, the candidate will not have any right to claim employment.
7. Selection Process
- There is no application fee, written examination or interview process for applicants.
- Incomplete or ineligible applications will be summarily rejected without any intimation.
- Reservation will be applicable as per the government guidelines amended from time to time.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for verification of documents / certificates.
- The candidate will be engaged on acceptance of the tripartite apprenticeship contract on the NATS / NAPS website, and on submission of a medical certificate in the prescribed format and police verification by the candidate.
- The total tenure of apprenticeship training is one year from the date of joining. It will end with completion of the one-year duration, and no further extension is permitted.
- The decision of KMRL will be final and binding. Management may amend the terms and conditions at any time, and apprentices will be informed by email or official communication channels.

- Duly filled Apprentice Bio-Data Form in the prescribed attached format, with a passport size photo affixed
- Percentage Conversion Letter or specialization certificate / letter, if required as explained in the eligibility section
