RRC Jaipur has invited online applications for 2008 Act Apprentice training slots for the year 2026-27. Candidates who have passed 10th with minimum 50% marks and possess ITI certificate in relevant trade can apply. Last date to apply is 6 November 2026. Selection will be purely on merit basis (no written exam).

Main Trades Available: Electrician (Coaching, Power, TRD, General), Fitter (Mechanical, C&W), Diesel Mechanic, Welder (Gas & Electric), Carpenter, Painter, Electronics Mechanic, Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA), Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Mason, Pipe Fitter, Turner/Machinist, Blacksmith, Mechanic Machine Tool Maintenance etc.
Qualification Eligibility
Candidates must have:
- Passed 10th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 system) with minimum 50% aggregate marks (no rounding off) from a recognised Board.
- National Trade Certificate (ITI) in the relevant notified trade issued by NCVT or SCVT.
Candidates awaiting final results need not apply. Choose the Unit carefully according to available seats for your ITI trade.
Age Limit
Age as on 06 November 2026:
- Minimum Age: 15 years
- Maximum Age: 24 years
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years
- Ex-Servicemen: As per rules (additional relaxation available)
Salary and Facilities
Selected candidates will get stipend as per the rules of Apprentices Act 1961 and directives issued by Railway Board from time to time. No hostel accommodation will be provided. Candidates have to make their own arrangement during training.
Selection Process
There is no written examination or interview. Selection will be done on the basis of merit list prepared from:
- Percentage of marks in Matriculation (minimum 50% aggregate)
- Percentage of marks in ITI
Simple average of both percentages will be taken. In case of equal marks, older candidate will be preferred. Final merit list will be prepared Unit-wise, Trade-wise and Community-wise. Document Verification and Medical Examination will be conducted at the opted Division/Unit.
